Who? What? Where? Win a day with your favourite Football League player or manager

13 April 2016

Football League sponsor Sky Bet are offering you a chance to spend a day with your favourite player or manager, as part of their Who? What? Where? campaign.

Last month, Burnley fan Sam from Leeds – and the rest of his five-a-side team – received an exclusive training session with Burnley manager Sean Dyche.

Dyche and his assistants took Sam and friends through a gruelling hour-long session at Burnley’s Barnfield Training Cente after Sky Bet offered up the chance to meet the Burnley boss.

There is a dedicated website where fans can request their perfect day with their footballing hero. Working with Football League clubs, Sky Bet will seek to make the best ideas a reality.

Sam said: “It’s been an absolutely fantastic day for me and the lads. Sean and his staff have been fantastic in welcoming us to the club and we’ll take away a few lessons back to our five-a-side league.

“It makes you realise how much work the coaching and backroom staff put in to achieving what we see on the pitch.”

Dyche said: “I’ve really enjoyed having Sam and the boys down today for their coaching session. They all put in the work and hopefully took away something from what we did with them.

“I think it’s a great initiative from Sky Bet and would encourage others to send their ideas in and see what happens.”

Sky Bet Head of Sponsorship Edwin Martin said: “What an opportunity for Sam who was able to meet his footballing hero and the man leading Burnley’s promotion charge.

“We’d like to extend our sincere thanks to Burnley Football Club who made this experience extra special for the lads.

“We’re looking to make as many ideas as possible a reality between now and the end of the season, so visit the website and let us know Who? What? and Where?”
