Scunthorpe United’s match against Blackpool on Saturday pits a historical trend up against a recent run of form.
If Blackpool are to lose on Saturday, it will mean that their wait for an away victory will go beyond 500 days, but the Iron have tended to be welcome opponents for the Lancashire side.The Tangerines have lost just once in their last 10 meetings with Scunthorpe, but they will never have faced them after suffering such a sustained winless streak.

The Iron have beaten Crewe Alexandra and drawn with Millwall and Colchester United, but defeats to Burton Albion and Wigan Athletic have blotted their form book.
