Sky Bet League 2: Matchday 8 review

Chris Wilder’s Northampton Town ended Morecambe’s four-match winning run with a 4-2 success at the Globe Arena on matchday 8 in Sky Bet League 2.

Lawson D’Ath, Sam Hoskins, Joel Byrom and Dominic Calvert-Lewin hit the Cobblers’ goals.

Accrington Stanley were also 4-2 winners, at home to Exeter City, to move up to sixth in the Sky Bet League 2 standings.

Barnet twice came from behind to eventually beat Stevenage 3-2, while 10-man York City fought back from two goals down to draw 2-2 with Carlisle United.

AFC Wimbledon were another team to turn a game on its head, as they scored two goals in the last five minutes to see off Notts County 2-1.
