Sky Bet League 2: Matchday 6 review

6 September 2015

Exeter City ended Leyton Orient’s perfect start to the Sky Bet League 2 season by beating them 4-0 at St James Park on matchday 6.

Paul Tisdale’s side put in a hugely impressive performance to stop Orient’s run of wins, but the London club do still remain top of the division.

Closing them down are Wycombe Wanderers, who beat Hartlepool United 2-1 to move up to second place in the table.

Meanwhile, Morecambe came from behind to overcome Yeovil Town 4-2, and Luton Town notched their first win of the season by beating Cambridge United 3-1.

On Sunday, Oxford United claimed their third Sky Bet League 2 victory of the campaign after beating Bristol Rovers 1-0 at the Memorial Ground. Kemar Roofe struck the winner in the 62nd minute when his sublime shot from outside the box crashed in off the crossbar.
