Sky Bet League 2: Matchday 10 preview

29 September 2015

The Football League's bottom two clubs, Newport County and Crawley Town, go head-to-head in Sky Bet League 2 on Tuesday night.

It will be the first Football League meeting between the pair, and it's one game of a full midweek schedule in the division.

Here are tonight's Sky Bet League 2 fixtures, all of which kick-off at 7:45pm:

Accrington Stanley v Yeovil Town
AFC Wimbledon v Northampton Town
Dagenham & Redbridge v Notts County
Hartlepool United v Bristol Rovers
Leyton Orient v Carlisle United
Morecambe v Luton Town
Newport County v Crawley Town
Plymouth Argyle v Barnet
Portsmouth v Exeter City
Stevenage v Mansfield Town
Wycombe Wanderers v Cambridge United
York City v Oxford United

Terry Butcher's Exiles finally picked up their first win of 2015/16 on Saturday but remain rooted to the bottom of the division, and they face a Crawley side who have only lost once in seven visits to Newport, all of which came during their non-league days.

Accrington Stanley and Yeovil Town are another duo yet to meet in The League, although they were paired together in last year's FA Cup, when the Glovers advanced courtesy of a replay - fifth-placed Stanley go into this one on the back of a three-game winning run, and they're unbeaten in seven overall.

Portsmouth are one of just two undefeated teams across The Football League and reached the division's summit on matchday 9, and the new league leaders welcome Exeter to Fratton Park.

Elsewhere, the previous leaders and one of Sky Bet League 2's highest scorers, Leyton Orient, face off against the most prolific, Carlisle United, in what could be an entertaining encounter in the capital.
