The Brewers fell behind after just two minutes when Sam Hird headed in for the home side, but Stuart Beavon equalised immediately after the restart, before substitute Jerome Binnom-Williams stole all three points for Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink's men in second-half stoppage time.
Graham Westley made a winning start to his managerial reign at Peterborough United, triumphing 2-0 on the road at Bradford City courtesy of goals from Lee Angol and Chris Forrester.
