If Blackpool fail to beat Scunthorpe on Saturday, they will surpass a landmark of 500 days without an away victory. They have a strong recent record against the Iron, though, having lost just one of the last eight encounters.

Chesterfield and Wigan renew acquaintances for the first time since 2002/03, with the Latics making their maiden trip to the Proact Stadium.

That may seem a long time to avoid each other, but that's nothing compared to Barnsley and Shrewbury who meet at Oakwell on Saturday afternoon – their last meeting was in April 1989!

More familiar foes are Oldham and Bradford, with the two clubs facing off for the 103rd time this weekend.

The action concludes on Sunday when Burton host Coventry. Both sides have made impressive starts to the new campaign, and the match will be shown live on Sky Sports.
