Sky Sports will be broadcasting the first game of The Football League weekend, between Southend United and Peterborough United, on Saturday at 12.05pm.
Back on track?Southend and Peterborough’s starts to the season have been far from ideal, with neither team going into this match with much momentum.
Southend are still without a win in all competitions this term, following promotion last time around, but a 2-2 draw with Coventry City in their most recent fixture did offer some encouragement.
Posh, though, can take no such solace from their last performance, which ended in a late 1-0 defeat at the hands of Millwall in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy.

That extended the Posh’s winless run to five matches, and they have claimed just three victories in their last 16 games, dating back to last season.
50 up!
This match will be the 50th meeting between Southend and Peterborough over the course of history.
Posh hold a narrow advantage, having come out on top 22 times, compared to Southend’s 20 triumphs.
Their most recent meeting was back in 2012, when Posh were in the Championship and Southend were in League 2.
On that occasion, Peterborough, then managed by Darren Ferguson, ran out comfortable 4-0 winners with Lee Tomlin, Paul Taylor, Joe Newell and George Boyd all on the scoresheet.
