The winners of the Sky Bet Manager and Player of the Month awards for August 2015/16 have been announced.
It was double delight for Brighton & Hove Albion in the Sky Bet Championship with boss Chris Hughton picking up the manager award and winger Kazenga LuaLua collecting the player prize.That was after the Seagulls collected 13 points from their opening five games, courtesy of four wins and a draw, to sit top of the pile in the division.
In Sky Bet League 1, Adam Armstrong picked up the Player of the Month award after netting five goals in August for Coventry City.
The division's Manager of the Month prize, meanwhile, went to Walsall's Dean Smith after he led the Saddlers to the top of Sky Bet League 1 in the first month of the season.
Leyton Orient possess the only 100 per cent record in Sky Bet League 2 after the first five games, and it was no surprise then that both awards went to O's - Ian Hendon was handed the Manager of the Month, while midfielder Dean Cox was named the Player of the Month.
