It was another action-packed week in the Final Third Development League, with a staggering 25 goals being scored across five fixtures.
Final Third Development League – South DivisionHaving not played in the opening week, Leyton Orient began their Final Third Development League campaign at home to last year's South Division winners Luton Town.
The visiting Hatters picked up where they left off last term in their first game, beating Gillingham 7-0, but it was the O's who marked the perfect start to their season, as Ollie Palmer’s strike midway through the first half earned them all three points.

The biggest result of the week came at Billingham Town, where Notts County romped to a 10-2 away victory against Hartlepool United.
The Pools took the lead after just 70 seconds through Scott Fenwick, but were on the reverencing end of a County backlash thereafter.
Jimmy Spencer hit four, Nicky Wroe bagged a brace and strikes from Jordan Aghatise, Rutty Smith, Luther Wildin and Filip Valencic compounded a miserable afternoon for Hartlepool, who scored their second with the last kick of the game courtesy of Kudus Oyenuga.
Final Third Development League – West Division
The West Division wasn't shy of goals either, as Shrewsbury Town and Walsall battled to a 3-3 draw on Tuesday.
Saddlers' first-team regulars Jordan Cook - who netted twice - and Reece Flanagan got on the scoresheet, but their efforts were cancelled out by Town's Shaun Whalley, Scott Vernon and James Caton.
The spoils were also shared at the Globe Arena, where Morecambe and Bradford played out a 1-1 stalemate.
Reece Webb-Foster gave the travelling Bantams the lead on the hour mark, but Shrimps youngster Lewis Tomlinson fired home with 10 minutes remaining to rescue a point.

On Wednesday, Wigan Athletic made the short journey south to Port Vale, and the pair completed a hat-trick of West Division draws for the week.
The Latics - whose line-up featured the returning Grant Holt - had taken a 2-0 lead inside 41 minutes after goals from Danny O'Brien and Louis Robles. But two in four second-half minutes from Vale's Colin Daniel and JJ Hopper maintained their unbeaten start to the season..@Grantholt31 happy to help out in the Development Squad on his road to recovery - http://t.co/SfDc5pzF3t#wafcpic.twitter.com/Q5pjvY6juB
