Derby County and Burnley played out a goalless stalemate in the Sky Bet Championship Monday night game at the iPro Stadium.
It was a game of few clear-cut chances that, in truth, failed to get going until the final stages. The best chance of the match fell to Derby's Richard Keogh in the second half, as his header from a corner was directed goal-bound, but Burnley defender Tendayi Darikwa was there to head off the line.
Clarets striker Sam Vokes was presented with a few opportunities from inside the Derby penalty box, but could not find the net, while George Thorne and Chris Martin also stung the palms of Burnley stopper Tom Heaton.
The result saw Derby's two-game winning streak brought to an end, while Burnley dropped their first points on the back of four successive victories and lost Andre Gray to first-half injury.
