The Third Round of the Capital One Cup takes place this week and it promises to be a thrilling spectacle.

The North London derby is one of two Capital One Cup Round 3 matches being shown live on Sky Sports.
The cameras will first be at Villa Park, where Aston Villa lock horns with rivals Birmingham City on Tuesday night in a 7.45pm kick-off.

It’s then the turn of Spurs and Arsenal 24 hours later, in what is expected to be an enthralling encounter.
Another derby in the capital on Wednesday night sees Crystal Palace host Charlton Athletic at Selhurst Park.

Carlisle United caused arguably the biggest shock of Round 2 by knocking out Queens Park Rangers at Loftus Road, and the Sky Bet League 2 side were rewarded with a trip to eight-time League Cup winners Liverpool.

Ipswich Town also have the chance to upset top-flight opposition when they go to Manchester United, while Sky Bet League 1 high-flyers Walsall host Chelsea at Banks’s Stadium.
