Birmingham City and Wolves taste success in Sky Bet Championship

29 September 2015

Birmingham City and Wolverhampton Wanderers took three points each in the Sky Bet Championship on Tuesday night.

The Blues were 2-0 winners at Brentford in what was Lee Carsley’s first game in charge of the Bees.

Michael Morrison and Clayton Donaldson got on the scoresheet and the victory - their first in four league games - moved Gary Rowett’s men up to fifth in the division.

Wolves are up to 10th, meanwhile, after a 3-0 victory at Fulham.

The hosts were reduced to 10 men when Tom Cairney saw red, and Wolves scored three second-half goals through Adam Le Fondre, Sheyi Ojo and James Henry.
