Yeovil Town and Morecambe will meet for the first time since their Conference days when they go head-to-head in Matchday 6 of Sky Bet League 2.The pair last met in 2002/03, on three occasions - two in the Conference and once in the FA Trophy. The Glovers have the bragging rights after a trio of victories that year, and that's not where their good form ends.
Morecambe have gone nine meetings since picking up maximum points off Yeovil, dating back to a 1-0 win at Huish Park in April 1999.
In that 2002/03 season, Yeovil stormed to the Conference title, finishing 17 points ahead of Morecambe. What makes that more astonishing is the fact that the Shrimps actually finished second that year, as the Glovers racked up 95 points from their 42 games.
Two years later and Yeovil were champions of League 2, then several seasons later, they went a step further by reaching the Sky Bet Championship in 2013/14.
However, back-to-back relegations have followed and now they renew acquaintances with Morecambe, who have been plying their trade in League 2 since 2007/08.
It's been 13 seasons since the pair last locked horns - can the Shrimps end their winless streak against the Gloverrs this weekend? Find out by following our updates on Twitter via @SkyBetLeague2.
