Fleetwood Town boss Steven Pressley was delighted with the performance of his side following their 4-0 win over Burton Albion in Sky Bet League 1.Jamie Proctor, Bobby Grant (2) and Ash Hunter ensured the Cod Army grabbed all three points, and Pressley singled out Proctor and Grant for their efforts.
“There’s certain players in the team we played because they can bring that moment of quality, and Bobby Grant is one of them," the 42-year-old told fleetwoodtownfc.com.
“We introduced him and he certainly made the difference. I was also delighted for Jamie Proctor because I thought he led the line brilliantly.
“He worked tirelessly up front for us and made a huge contribution. Collectively though it was a really, really important result for us.
The success was Pressley's first since taking charge at Highbury and, despite the convincing scoreline, the boss insisted it's just the start.
"The most important thing for us right now is winning games of football. We can talk about every aspect of our performance but winning is all that matters to me," the Scotsman added.
“In our predicament the only way we’re going to get confidence and belief is by winning games, this was a small step but a very important one."
