15 October 2015

This weekend sees the start of a busy few days in Sky Bet League 2, with a full schedule taking place on Saturday afternoon.

There are two clashes between sides in the top seven, with Leyton Orient facing Oxford United for the first time in 10 seasons, while league leaders Plymouth host fifth-placed Accrington Stanley.

Here are all the fixtures in Sky Bet League 2 this weekend (3pm kick-off unless stated):

Saturday 17th October

AFC Wimbledon v Morecambe (2.00pm)
Barnet v York City
Cambridge United v Northampton Town
Carlisle United v Exeter City

Dagenham & Redbridge v Hartlepool United
Leyton Orient v Oxford United

Leyton Orient and Oxford's last meeting came on a memorable final day of the 2005/06 campaign, on an afternoon which saw the O's promoted from League 2 and the U's relegated to the Conference.

Plymouth and Accrington have both lost just once in their last 10 games and they meet at Home Park on Saturday. This one could be a tight affair – 10 encounters between the pair have resulted in six draws.

Second-placed Portsmouth travel to bottom club Newport County, who they have only beaten once in five meetings, and Mansfield will play Bristol Rovers for the 50th time as they bid to extend the three-match winning run which has helped them climb to fourth.

The other side in the top seven, Wycombe, are away at Stevenage – two sides who both fell short in the Play-Offs last term, and it's a chance for Boro's Ben Kennedy to show why he was rewarded with a new three-year deal earlier this week.

Elsewhere, Exeter make the long trip north to Carlisle; Crawley and Luton clash in The Football League for the first time, and Barnet take on York – a fixture which has only produced one draw in it's history.
