Sky Bet League 2: Matchday 12 preview

9 October 2015

Sky Bet League 2's latest round of action sees 11 games taking place across Saturday and Sunday, with some live Sky Sports action also featuring.

One of those teams picked for live coverage are Plymouth Argyle, who became the fourth team this season to top the table last weekend.

Here is the weekend Sky Bet League 2 schedule in full (games kick-off at 3pm unless stated):

Saturday 10th October

Barnet v Accrington Stanley
Cambridge United v Portsmouth
Carlisle United v Morecambe
Crawley Town v Leyton Orient
Luton Town v York City
Mansfield Town v Newport County
Northampton Town v Hartlepool United
Oxford United v AFC Wimbledon
Yeovil Town v Dagenham & Redbridge

Sunday 11th October

Exeter City v Stevenage (12.15pm - live on Sky Sports)
Notts County v Plymouth Argyle (2.30pm - live on Sky Sports)

Leaders Plymouth will conclude Matchday 12 proceedings in front of the cameras at Notts County on Sunday, knowing they'll stay at the summit if they can clinch a third win in succession.

They took over at the top last week after Wycombe Wanderers fell to Northampton Town, and with the Chairboys not in action this weekend, no fewer than six different teams could climb above them.

One of those are Leyton Orient, who got back to winning ways at the fifth time of asking on Matchday 11. They're up against Crawley Town this time around, while Portsmouth and Oxford United – one point behind the O's – play Cambridge United and AFC Wimbledon respectively.

Mansfield Town are on the rise after just one defeat in their last eight, and will fancy their chances of a third straight triumph when they host bottom club Newport County.

After a miserable start to the season, Luton Town are bidding for a fifth win on the spin when they take on York City, while Northampton and Carlisle United,  who sit just outside the top seven, lock horns with Hartlepool United and Morecambe.

Elsewhere, Barnet play Accrington Stanley, who lost their first game in nine last week, Yeovil Town welcome Dagenham & Redbridge to Huish Park and, on Sunday, Exeter City and Stevenage contest the first of the two live Sky Sports games.
