Birmingham City remain in the top six despite losing 2-0 to rivals Wolverhampton Wanderers in Saturday’s lunchtime kick-off.
The Matchday 14 action got under way on Thursday with another televised fixture, in which Blackburn Rovers beat Leeds United 2-0.

Friday night’s televised game saw Brentford record a long overdue win over West London rivals QPR, and Preston North End drew 0-0 with Bolton Wanderers in Saturday evening’s game on Sky Sports.

Earlier in the day on Saturday, Sheffield Wednesday saw off Nottingham Forest 1-0 to cap off a week that included a 3-0 Capital One Cup win over Premier League Arsenal.
