Sky Bet Championship: Matchday 14 preview

Matchday 14 in the Sky Bet Championship is spread over three days this weekend, with all 24 teams in action.

Leeds United and Blackburn Rovers kicked-off the action on Thursday when they met at Elland Road, where Rovers won 2-0.

Here's a look at what's coming up on Friday night and Saturday in the Sky Bet Championship, with games starting at 3pm unless stated otherwise:

Thursday 29th October

Leeds United 0-2 Blackburn Rovers (7.45pm – live on Sky Sports)

Friday 30th October

Brentford v Queens Park Rangers (7.45pm – live on Sky Sports)

Saturday 31st October

Birmingham City v Wolverhampton Wanderers (12.30pm – live on Sky Sports)
Bristol City v Fulham
Burnley v Huddersfield Town
Derby County v Rotherham United
Ipswich Town v Cardiff City
Middlesbrough v Charlton Athletic
Milton Keynes Dons v Hull City
Reading v Brighton & Hove Albion
Sheffield Wednesday v Nottingham Forest
Preston North End v Bolton Wanderers (6.00pm – live on Sky Sports)

Early goals from Craig Conway and Jordan Rhodes gave Rovers their 2-0 success at Leeds, and that was the first away victory of the season.

The three other matches live on Sky Sports this weekend are Brentford's West London derby against Queens Park Rangers, Birmingham's clash against Wolves, and Bolton's visit to Preston.

Leaders Brighton are in action at 3pm on Saturday when they go to Reading with their unbeaten run of 2015/16 still intact.

The Seagulls have won eight and drawn five over their 13 games this season, and are four points ahead of second-placed Hull City, who travel to Milton Keynes Dons this weekend.

The Tigers tasted Capital One Cup Round 4 success in midweek against Leicester City, while fellow Championship sides Middlesbrough and Sheffield Wednesday also advanced to the Quarter-Finals.

Boro saw off Manchester United 3-1 on penalties following a 0-0 draw – they entertain managerless Charlton on Saturday – while the Owls eased past Arsenal 3-0 ahead of their league match at home to Nottingham Forest.

The Football League and Mitre have teamed up to back the campaign by using a special ‘Mo’ branded Delta Hyperseam Fluo ball in all of this weekend’s fixtures.
