Sky Bet Championship: Matchday 12 review

20 October 2015

Brighton & Hove Albion maintained their place at the Sky Bet Championship summit after a 2-1 victory over Bristol City.

The Robins had took the lead at the Amex but the Seagulls fought back to take three points, with Bobby Zamora scoring a late winner for the second successive match.

Birmingham City are up to second in the division thanks to a 1-0 victory at Bolton Wanderers, while Huddersfield Town won for the first time in four games, beating MK Dons 2-0.

Preston ended a run of nine league games without a victory by coasting to a 3-0 success at Charlton Athletic. Hull City also won by three goals to nil, against Ipswich Town.

Three games took place on Wednesday evening, and Steve Evans' first match as Leeds United boss resulted in a point as they drew 1-1 at Fulham.

Elsewhere, Brentford defeated Wolves 2-0 at Molineux, while Blackburn Rovers and Derby County played out a goalless stalemate at Ewood Park.
