After narrowly missing out on the Sky Bet League 2 Play-Offs in 2014/15, Luton Town were highly fancied to push on for promotion this term.
The Hatters made a slow start last season but eventually finished three points short of the top seven, and this campaign also took a while to get going - failing to register a win in the league until September. The division is a tight one, though. Luton are just four points off the Play-Offs, in 13th, and a good run will put them right back in contention - and their game against Plymouth last year sparked a reaction that saw John Still's men charge up the table.
The Pilgrims, who currently sit top of Sky Bet League 2, were 1-0 winners at Kenilworth Road that day, but it all came together for Luton after that loss. Here's how things panned out:
Luton Town 0-1 Plymouth Argyle
Date: 6th September 2014
Points: 5
Position: 19th
The Hatters' next 11 games
Won: 9
Drawn: 2
Lost: 0
Scored: 16
Conceded: 4
Date: 15th November 2014
Points: 34
Position: 1st
Luton may not have been able to get the better of the Pilgrims at home since 2002/03 but, even if they don't break that barren run this weekend, it could provoke another winning streak to see them climb the League 2 ladder.
