Live on Sky Sports: Derby County v Wolverhampton Wanderers

17 October 2015

The Football League's weekend schedule concludes on Sunday when Derby County host Wolverhampton Wanderers in a televised Sky Bet Championship fixture.

The 1.15pm kick-off is being screened live on Sky Sports, and we'll be tweeting match updates from our divisional Twitter channel, @SkyBetChamp.

Historical head-to-head

This will be the 148th meeting of the two clubs, and Derby have the upper hand with 62 wins compared to Wolves' 52. The duo have shared the spoils on 33 occasions.

Last season, Derby thumped Wolves 5-0 at the iPro Stadium, before Wolves triumphed 2-0 in the reverse fixture.

This time around

Seventh-placed Derby have won four of their last five, and have been defeated just once in their opening 10 games, to possess 17 points.

Wolves are ninth with two fewer points. They've won two and drawn two over their last four outings. Those victories were both by a 3-0 scoreline, against Fulham and Huddersfield Town.

In the media

Wolves boss Kenny Jackett: “10 games is a good start to see where you are, how you are looking, whether you are optimistic or pessimistic.

“Derby away is a big game. It is a great game, live on the television and it will be a yardstick.”
