Live on Sky Sports: Brentford take on Queens Park Rangers in a West London derby

30 October 2015

The Sky Bet Championship weekend continues with Sky Sports broadcasting Brentford versus Queens Park Rangers on Friday night, under the Griffin Park lights.

Bragging rights will firmly belong to the winners of this fixture, with the head-to-head record reading 21 wins each, alongside 23 draws. The spoils were shared the last time these two met, but that was some time ago.

The pair last locked horns back in the 2003/04 season and the spoils were shared at Griffin Park that day, when Kevin O'Connor cancelled out Paul Furlong's opener for QPR - two men still at their clubs in coaching capacities.

Lee Carsley's managerial reign is well and truly up and running - three successive wins have launched the Bees up the table, while their West London rivals are struggling for consistency. A win for the hosts would see them leapfrog QPR in the table, with the Bees currently 12th on 17 points, while the R's are just two points and two places better off.

Coverage begins at 7pm on Sky Sports 1, with kick-off 45 minutes later, and you can also follow the West London derby on Twitter, by following our divisional Twitter feed - @SkyBetChamp.
