Live on Sky: Notts County v Plymouth Argyle

9 October 2015

Notts County and Plymouth Argyle conclude the weekend action in The Football League when they meet on Sunday afternoon.

The match is one of two Sky Bet League 2 fixtures on Sky Sports that day, and the Meadow Lane coverage begins at 2:15pm, with kick-off following 15 minutes later.

Despite a busy summer in the transfer market, Notts County have struggled to make an impact on the division following their relegation last term, lying 16th going into the weekend.

However, Ricardo Moniz oversaw a good September in which the Magpies picked up 10 points from five games, and it meant the Dutchman was nominated for the Manager of the Month award, although he was pipped to the prize by Accrington Stanley boss John Coleman.

Moniz and his players welcome the in-form Plymouth on Sunday, who sit top of the table going into Matchday 12 following last week's 2-1 win over Crawley Town.

The Pilgrims are unbeaten in five, but they have struggled to get the better of their upcoming opponents over the years.

These sides have met 42 times, dating back to 1923, and County have won 23 of those matches compared to Plymouth's 10.

Five years have passed since the last encounter, where the Magpies picked up four points from two League 1 meetings and knocked Argyle out of the League Cup.
