Plymouth Argyle maintained their healthy lead at the top of Sky Bet League 2 on Matchday 17 by beating York City 2-1.
The Pilgrims’ win at York was the only away triumph on Saturday in the division and it saw them keep their five-point advantage over Oxford United at the summit.The U’s were 1-0 winners over Cambridge, and they’re now closely followed by Chris Wilder’s Northampton Town in third after their 1-0 home victory over Mansfield Town.
Bristol Rovers moved up to eighth with a 2-0 victory against ninth-placed Carlisle United, and Luton are 10th after also triumphing 2-0, at home to Barnet.
Yeovil Town remain in the bottom two after a 2-2 draw with Stevenage, while Accrington Stanley’s game against Newport County and Exeter City’s match with Crawley Town also ended 2-2.
