Despite being held to a draw this weekend, Coventry City keep their place at the top of Sky Bet League 1.
The Sky Blues drew 2-2 with Doncaster Rovers, but fellow frontrunners Gillingham shared the same scoreline with Shrewsbury Town to leave the top two as they were.There were some high-scoring matches throughout the division, one of which saw Burton Albion thrash Colchester United 5-1 to close the gap on the aforementioned pair.
Swindon Town and The Football League's top scorers Peterborough United both recorded emphatic 4-0 scorelines – with Conor Washington grabbing a hat-trick for the in-form Posh.
Promotion hopefuls Walsall got back to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Bradford City, ending the Bantams' run of 679 minutes without conceding, while Wigan Athletic played out a goalless stalemate at Southend United.
Further down the table, both Crewe Alexandra and Blackpool secured much needed wins. The Seasiders ended a five-match losing streak by beating Fleetwood Town 1-0 in the first-ever League meeting between the two sides, while Crewe secured back-to-back wins by defeating Oldham Athletic 1-0.
In the day's early kick-off, Barnsley and Sheffield United shared the spoils in South Yorkshire, with Conor Hourihane netting a 95th-minute leveller for the Tykes.
