Sky Bet League 1: Matchday 17 review

14 November 2015

Gillingham moved back up to the summit of Sky Bet League 1 on Matchday 17 by beating Bury 3-1.

The Gills fell behind after Leon Clarke’s opener but responded well to take all three points.

Coventry City also took advantage of Walsall and Burton Albion being out of action, leapfrogging the duo into second.

Like the Gills, the Sky Blues also fell behind in their match at Colchester United but won 3-1, thanks to a Jacob Murphy brace and one from Marc-Antoine Fortune.

Swindon Town recorded the result of the day by beating Scunthorpe United 2-1 to end a 10-match winless run, moving out of the relegation zone in the process.
