With leaders Walsall and second-placed Burton Albion out of action over the international period, Gillingham and Coventry City have the chance to pounce and go top of Sky Bet League 1.
Both clubs are locked on 31 points apiece, one behind the Saddlers and the Brewers. Gillingham face a tough test against sixth-placed Bury, who got back to winning ways after four games without victory last time out, and Coventry are on the road to a Colchester United side who've amassed just one triumph in their last six outings.
The day's action kicks off at Spotland, where Rochdale and Wigan Athletic lock horns in a local rivalry live on Sky Sports. The visiting Latics are flying high in the division thanks to just one defeat in their last 10 league matches, but Dale have fallen off the pace of late with no wins in six and four consecutive draws.
