The nominations for the Sky Bet Championship Player of the Month award for October.
Barry Bannan (Sheffield Wednesday)Bannan's infectious energy and ability to pick out incisive passes were instrumental in Wednesday’s unbeaten month. The Scot was his side’s lynchpin, driving himself and others forward, as well as picking the positive option at every opportunity.
Andre Gray (Burnley)
Gray hit five goals in October with neat finishes against Rotherham United and Huddersfield Town as he continued to justify the price the Clarets paid for him. He allies a poacher’s instinct to a prodigious work rate, while his pace adds a different dimension to his new team.
Alan Judge (Brentford)
Judge was the on-field inspiration behind Brentford’s October fest. He was moved to the tip of the diamond and scored three goals, including a looping volley against Rotherham United and a beautiful curler at Charlton Athletic, and provided four assists in the month.
Paul Robinson (Birmingham City)
Robinson's positioning and experience has been vital in solidifying the Birmingham defence, while the combative 36-year-old scored his first league goal for eight years with a diving header against Queens Park Rangers - then did it again three days later at Bolton Wanderers.
The winner will be announced on Friday.
