The nominations for the Sky Bet Championship Manager of the Month award for October.
Steve Bruce (Hull City)Bruce has assembled a squad to rival any in the Sky Bet Championship and used it to almost maximum effect in October when his side garnered 13 points from five games, conceding just a single goal in the process as they moved into the top two.
Lee Carsley (Brentford)
Carsley keeps insisting that the Brentford post is not one for a first-time manager, yet few could have lifted them into mid-table so convincingly. He introduced a midfield diamond, freed his players and guided them to four wins out of five.
Paul Clement (Derby County)
Clement began the season by instilling defensive stability. He has now tacked attacking flair on to that base with his side finding the net nine times in home games against Brentford, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Rotherham United, while collecting 13 points from a possible 15.
Sean Dyche (Burnley)
Dyche celebrated three years at Turf Moor in style as his team won four and drew one of their five fixtures. His calm demeanour and firm belief in his principles has given his players the confidence to think that another promotion is possible.
The winner will be announced on Friday.
