Nottingham Forest ended an eight-game winless streak by recording a 1-0 win over rivals Derby County in the Sky Bet Championship.
The Friday night clash in front of the Sky Sports cameras didn't take long to ignite, the hosts taking the lead after just five minutes courtesy of Nelson Oliveira's low drive.
Scott Carson then produced a wonderful save to prevent Jamie Ward extending Forest's lead as the first half exploded into life.
Jeff Hendrick hit the crossbar for the Rams, and Johnny Russell had an effort pushed away as the visitors went in search of an equaliser, but Forest stood firm.
The second half was quiet in comparison, with Forest closest to adding to the scoreline, only for a goal-saving challenge by Stephen Warnock to deny Ryan Mendes.
Forest held on for a famous win to climb up to 15th in the Championship table, inflicting a first away defeat for Derby boss Paul Clement in the process.
