Bolton Wanderers failed to achieve their second win of the season but came from behind to draw 1-1 with Brentford.
The visiting Bees dominated the early stages of the game, and John Swift made their possession count with a superb curled effort that sailed into the top right corner. However, the Trotters responded immediately, and had a buzz about their play that wasn’t present in the opening 20 minutes. Despite this, they went into the break 1-0 down.
Bolton’s goal eventually came in the 65th minute when Neil Danns hit a driving half-volley that went in off the post.
The point wasn’t enough to move Neil Lennon’s side off the foot of the table, while Brentford remain 11th, going into the Dean Smith era following his appointment on Monday.
