Bradford City and Coventry City both made home advantage count as they beat visiting sides Blackpool and Barnsley 1-0 and 4-3 respectively in Sky Bet League 1.
James Hanson put the Bantams ahead just before half-time and it proved to be enough to secure the win, which moved them up to ninth in the table, whereas Blackpool remain 20th.Coventry extended their unbeaten run to seven games with a win over Barnsley. The Sky Blues took the lead after just three minutes when Ryan Kent scored his first professional goal, and Adam Armstrong doubled their advantage 15 minutes later.
Barnsley got a goal back thanks to Alfie Mawson, but Armstrong hit his second of the match and 10th in eight games at the Ricoh Arena to restore Coventry's two-goal lead. Back came the Tykes through Josh Scowen but Joe Cole got off the mark for the Sky Blues, making it 4-2, before Scowen scored a late consolation.

Coventry are now just a point off league-leaders Walsall in fourth, while Barnsley find themselves 22nd with this result their seventh successive loss.
