In a battle at the foot of the Sky Bet Championship table, Bristol City travel to Bolton Wanderers on Saturday for a 3pm kick-off.
Ahead of the 16th round of fixtures in the Sky Bet Championship 2015/16, Bolton find themselves with 10 points in 22nd place – alongside Charlton Athletic and Rotherham United in the relegation zone.Having endured a similarly tough start to the season, Bristol City head into the weekend just one place above the Trotters, in 21st with 14 points.
Bolton are without a win in nine and, while City beat Wolverhampton Wanderers last time out, they haven't picked up three points away from home in their last five attempts.
Despite the Robins having a favourable record against Bolton overall - 24 wins compared to 17 – they suffered two defeats to them in their two most recent meetings, during 2012/13, losing 3-2 at home and 2-1 on the road.
Speaking ahead of the match, Bristol City boss Steve Coterill remained optimistic. He told Bristol City Player: “What you need to do is try to get back-to-back results. If you can do that, it can propel you from where you are.”
Neil Lennon also spoke to the press ahead of the fixture.
