The Sky Bet Football League Play-Off Semi-Finals are upon us, and the first of the action kicks off this Thursday night.
Sky Bet ChampionshipThe battle to reach the Championship Play-Off Final at Wembley Stadium starts with Brentford against Middlesbrough on Friday night.
The Bees welcome Boro after they surged into the top six on the final day, in a 7.45pm kick-off at Griffin Park. The tie will then be decided at the Riverside at the same time a week later.
On Saturday, it’s the small matter of an East Anglian Derby Semi-Final first leg, as Ipswich Town take on Norwich City.
Ipswich, who scraped into the Play-Off places on goal difference, host the Canaries in a 12.15pm kick-off at Portman Road, before the contest is decided the following Saturday.
Sky Bet League 1
The Semi-Finals in Sky Bet League 1 kick the Play-Offs off on Thursday, with Chesterfield hosting Preston North End and Sheffield United facing Swindon Town, with both games getting under way at 7.45pm.
Preston and Chesterfield play out their deciding leg three days later on Sunday, in a 12.15pm lunchtime kick-off, while Swindon and Sheffield United will settle the score on Monday 11th May, in a 7.45pm kick-off.
Sky Bet League 2
Sky Bet League 2 Play-Off Semi-Final proceedings begin with Plymouth Argyle against Wycombe Wanderers at Home Park on Saturday, in a game that begins at 7.45pm.
The Chairboys ended the season fourth after seeing off Northampton Town 3-2 on the final day, to set up their meeting with the Pilgrims.
Stevenage and Southend United will contest the other Semi-Final – the first leg takes place on Sunday 10th May at 6.35pm.
Both games will then see a conclusion reached the following Thursday at 7.45pm.
