Crawley Town clawed themselves within two points of safety in Sky Bet League 1 by beating Port Vale 3-2, and interim manager Dean Saunders believes it was deserved.
The Reds twice came from behind to take all three points at Vale Park, with Anthony Wordsworth cancelling out a Louis Dodds opener, and Izale McLeod then levelling at 2-2 after Dodds had bagged his second of the night for the Valiants.Richard Wood nodded in the winner for the West Sussex side, and interim boss Saunders said the victory was deserved as his side scored three goals on the road.
