Cardiff City manager Russell Slade has praised his side's recent improvement, following their 3-1 triumph over Rotherham United on Tuesday night.Three goals in 11 minutes from Bruno Manga, Federico Macheda and Conor McAleny sealed a comprehensive win for the Bluebirds.
Slade's men have now lost just one of their last seven Sky Bet Championship games, and the 54-year-old was delighted to see fringe players play their part.
“We are very pleased with the result,” said Slade.
“We got the ball down, created the opportunities and, most importantly, we took them.
“If you look at the chances and opportunities we had I thought it was a really good away performance. We made the right decisions. We were ruthless in the final third particularly in the first-half. It’s a good thing moving forward.
“We’d freshened the team up. It was a conscious decision to bring fresh legs in. I’m delighted it was two players who had not been playing that much who got a couple of our goals.”
