Tom Cairney raring to go following move to Fulham

26 June 2015

Tom Cairney says he is eager to get started at Fulham following his arrival at the club from Blackburn Rovers.

The 24-year-old - who was at Hull City prior to his stint with Rovers - has signed on at Craven Cottage until 2019, and has also represented Scotland at Under-21 level.

The midfielder is now raring to go in a Fulham shirt, and hopes he can play a key part in the Cottagers’ rebuilding process.

“I’m delighted. Now I’m just so looking forward to getting started and meeting the boys," he told fulhamfc.com.

“The hard work starts now because it’s pre-season but I can’t wait to get back here, get settled and get in amongst it.

“For most of my life Fulham have been a Premier League club and have only been out of it for a year. They’ve had some great players over the years and it’s a very attractive club to come to.

“Every player wants to play in the Premier League and if I can do that with Fulham that would be fantastic.”
