Reading winger Tariqe Fosu says he wants to become a regular in Steve Clarke's side in the upcoming season.
The 19-year-old has recently put pen to paper on a new two-year deal at the Madejski Stadium, having made his debut in the Royals' defeat of Derby County on the last weekend of the previous campaign.Fosu is now seeking more first team opportunities, and wants to entertain the Reading faithful from August.
“It’s very good to have signed my new contract," he told readingfc.co.uk
"I’m delighted to still be at the club for another two years and, after last season, I’m looking to kick on and hopefully do the club well.
“I like to excite the fans, so I’ve just got to do what I do and hopefully they’ll enjoy it.
"At the moment, there are a lot of young players with the first team so it should be quite good for all of the young lads.
“It was an unexplainable feeling [the debut against Derby]. I almost scored in that game but I’m saving my goals for next season."
