Bristol City midfielder Marlon Pack can’t wait to get stuck into the Sky Bet Championship next term after penning a new deal at Ashton Gate.
The 24-year-old made a lone substitute appearance in the second tier as a teenager at Portsmouth, but after playing an important role in the Robins’ double-winning 2014/15 promotion season he can’t wait to get back into the thick of things come August.
Speaking to Bristol City Player after signing on for another two years at the West Country outfit yesterday, Pack said: “It’s the first time for many of us and to play at that standard is something we’re all looking forward to.
“I’m really excited. It’s such a big league and when you look at the sides in there who have been in the Premier League, it’s going to be a tough job.
“But I’m sure we’ll all have a good pre-season and there’s enough quality here now, obviously with some new faces that will also be needed to help us in the league.”
