Josh McQuoid has big ambitions with Luton Town

29 June 2015

Josh McQuoid is aiming for promotion at Luton Town, after signing a three-year deal at Kenilworth Road.

The former Bournemouth man is John Still’s side’s sixth addition of a busy summer so far, and the winger already has high hopes for the season ahead.

McQuoid says that Still’s ambition was one of the main reasons why he opted to move to the Sky Bet League 2 outfit, with the Hatters hoping to challenge at the top of the table this term.

“The size of the club and the support was a major factor in signing but I want to achieve something here,” McQuoid told Luton’s official site.

“I could tell from the first meeting with the manager that this was a club that wanted to go places and I didn’t want to sign for a mediocre club happy just to sit in the middle of the league.

“I’ve come here to do well and help this club win promotion.”

Luton narrowly missed out on the Play-Off places last term as they finished seventh in League 2, three points off Plymouth Argyle.
