Doncaster Rovers allowed one of the club's supporters to announce a new signing on Twitter, after he took his pre-season frustrations to social media.

In turn, Rovers allowed him to announce Paul Dickov's first signing, with goalkeeper Thorsten Stuckmann joining the club on a two-year deal.

The experienced goalkeeper joins from Preston North End, after making 18 appearances for the Lilywhites last term on their way to promotion to the Sky Bet Championship.
