Cambridge United manager Richard Money believes new signing Daniel Carr has the ability to be a huge success as the R Costings Abbey Stadium.
Carr has joined Cambridge from Huddersfield Town, and Money is excited to see how the youngster can develop. The 21-year-old has previously impressed in non-league football, and he has spent time on loan with Fleetwood Town, Mansfield Town and Dagenham and Redbridge in The Football League. But Money is hoping that giving him a more permanent home will help him fulfill his potential.
“We are delighted to be able to bring Daniel to the club at this exciting time,” Money said to the club’s official site.
“He is a player of enormous, as yet, unfulfilled potential; he is very quick and can play right across the front line.
“Daniel's determination to sign for us when he had a number of other opportunities has been refreshing and underlines the ambition we are showing in our recruitment this summer.
“As well as being committed towards developing players from our own academy, Daniel’s signing also shows our determination to continue to bring young players with his potential to the club."
Carr is Cambridge’s seventh signing of the summer so far, as Money continues to bolster his options for the forthcoming Sky Bet League 2 campaign.
