Jack Redshaw believes now is the right time to step up in his career, after signing for Sky Bet League 1 side Blackpool. The striker has made the switch from Morecambe, having scored 12 goals for the Sky Bet League 2 Shrimps last term.
Now Redshaw – the club's seventh summer signing following relegation from the Sky Bet Championship, who has signed a two-year deal - is eager to make his mark at Bloomfield Road.
“The manager wants to move the club in the right direction and now I’m a part of that I just want to help the best I can to move Blackpool forward,” said Redshaw, to the club's official website.

“I like the way he is trying to build the club and I wanted to be a part of that.
“I think the time is right to move on and step up into League 1. I’m confident in my own ability and want to be successful with Blackpool.
“I like to pick the ball up from deep and drive at defenders, but most of all I’m a striker and I want to score goals, which is what I’m here to do.”
