Bradford City boss Phil Parkinson can't wait to work with Josh Morris after making the former Blackburn Rovers man his second summer signing.
The addition of the 23-year old comes hot on the heels of Steven Davies' arrival from Sheffield United on Tuesday, and Parkinson is delighted to have snapped up the young midfielder on a three-year deal.Morris has spent the last year-and-a-half on loan at Fleetwood Town, helping the Cod Army to Sky Bet League 2 promotion in 2013/14, before hitting eight goals in another successful season last time out.
"We are delighted to have Josh on board,” Parkinson told the club's official website.
"We have tracked his progress for some time and he enjoyed a good season in League 1 with Fleetwood Town last year.
"He got eight goals from midfield last season and he will add something extra to the squad. We look forward to working with him."
One man who will benefit from Morris' arrival is fellow newcomer Davies, who is looking forward to getting started at Valley Parade after sealing a move from Blackpool.
The 27-year-old striker scored five goals for the Seasiders last term before making a loan switch to Sheffield United, where he added a further three to his tally as the Blades reached the Play-Offs.
"If you look at the squad that is already here, they just went a little bit short in the league last year. Hopefully with some of the additions the manager wants to bring in, we can now be right up there this year,” Davies said.
"It was nice to speak with a manager who believes in what you can do. One of the big reasons for me coming here was how highly the gaffer thought of me.
"He gave me the confidence to make me feel this was the right club to come to."
