5 January 2015

We take a look at the numbers that make up the weekend's Sky Bet Football League action.

2 - Cheltenham Town took three players on loan from Liverpool prior to their game against Oxford United on Saturday and two of them, Jack Dunn and Kevin Stewart, found the net for debut goals.

2 - Swindon and Fleetwood met for only the second time in a competitive match, and the latter are yet to get the better of the Robins.

3 - Coventry City’s Marcus Tudgay, Michael Smith of Swindon and Morecambe striker Jack Redshaw all missed penalties at the weekend.

3 - Three games in Sky Bet League 2 ended 2-1, and the winning teams all came from 1-0 down to triumph.

4 - Burton Albion have kept four consecutive clean sheets for the first time ever as a Football League club.

5 - Rhys Murphy scored Dagenham & Redbridge’s first goal in five games, against Bury. The Daggers hadn’t found the net since their reverse meeting with the Shakers, on 29th November.

5 - Northampton halted a run of five straight defeats thanks to a 1-1 draw with Play-Off chasing Southend United.

5 - Burton Albion ended Shrewsbury’s run of five successive clean sheets by beating the Shrews 1-0.

7 - Table-toppers Wycombe Wanderers are now undefeated in seven Sky Bet League 2 outings.

12 - After going 12 games without a goal, Fleetwood's Josh Morris has now scored in consecutive matches, netting three in total.

15 - Port Vale moved from 15th to eighth after beating Gillingham 2-1, highlighting just how tight Sky Bet League 1 is. Only three points separate Doncaster Rovers in 15th and sixth-placed Sheffield United.

16 - Port Vale’s victory was their 16th against Gillingham in a competitive meeting. The Gills have beaten Vale 15 times, alongside 16 draws.

45 - Carlisle have now conceded 45 goals - the highest of any team in Sky Bet League 2 - after they went down 2-1 to Newport County.

70 - York picked up a valuable point against Plymouth despite playing 70 minutes with 10 men, after Stephane Zubar was sent off.

100 - Burton’s win against Shrewsbury at the Pirelli saw the Brewers maintain their 100 per cent home record under Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink.
