Milton Keynes Dons boss Karl Robinson was proud of his side after their 2-0 victory over Barnsley.Goals from Dele Alli and Will Grigg - each with their second in as many games - decided the contest as the Dons made light work of their struggling visitors.
With four more games in the next 16 days, Robinson is already casting his eye towards a pivotal period in his side's push for promotion.
"We've got an awful lot of games coming up so we need to make sure that we do everything we can do to be at our best," he said.
"We've got a big game in mind on Tuesday against Scunthorpe and they haven't played so we needed to make sure we do a few things right.
"We had a game plan, we knew how difficult this was going to be - we wanted to be patient.
"You've got to be patient and move the ball quickly, and that's what we did in the second half and it worked.
"We felt that we're fitter than the opposition so we felt if we could stay in the game for 45 minutes then we knew we had a chance when we kick into our own fans in the second half.
"The players were excellent they really were - they stood up to be counted and I'm really proud of them."
