Jack Bonham happy to commit long-term to Brentford

5 January 2015

Brentford goalkeeper Jack Bonham has signed a new long-term contract with the club.

The 21-year-old put pen to paper on his new deal 24 hours before appearing in Saturday's 2-0 FA Cup defeat to Brighton.

"It was a no brainer for me in terms of whether to sign or not," Bonham told the club's official website.

"I'm really happy to be here, the club is going places and I'm delighted to be part of it."

Bonham, who arrived in the summer of 2013 following his release from Watford, has established himself as second-choice behind David Button this season and made his fourth first-team appearance on Saturday.
