Weekend in numbers

We take a look at the numbers that make up the weekend's Sky Bet Football League action.

1 - Reading loanee Dominic Samuel scored on his first appearance for Coventry City and that was the Sky Blues' first goal from open play in more than four and a half hours of football.

2 - Jean-Louis Akpa Akpro had only been on the pitch for two minutes when he struck his first goal of 2015 to earn Shrewsbury Town all three points at Newport County.

2 - Leeds United secured back-to-back victories for the first time since September by beating Huddersfield Town 2-1.

3 - Billy Sharp scored Leeds’ winner at Huddersfield which means he’s now scored in his last three games against the Terriers, for three different clubs - Reading, Doncaster and now the Whites.

3 - Middlesbrough beat Brentford for their third win on the spin. That result ended the Bees’ three-match winning run.

3 - Calvin Andrew scored his third goal in as many league games to earn Rochdale a point at Coventry.

3 - Exeter City's Alex Nicholls also netted his third goal in as many games, against Tranmere Rovers.

3 - Hartlepool United scored three goals for the first time this season, against Plymouth Argyle, who hadn't conceded three this term prior to the weekend. The result took the Pilgrims’ winless spell to seven outings.

3 - Cambridge have registered three wins, three draws and three defeats over their last nine games.

4 - Four Sky Bet Championship games ended level over the weekend, as well as four home wins and four away victories.

4 - Blackpool have now won four games this season, all of which have come at home. They recorded back-to-back victories at Bloomfield Road for the first time since March by overcoming Brighton 1-0.

4 - Scunthorpe United have notched successive 4-1 away wins after triumphing at Leyton Orient. The result was Orient's worst home loss for nearly four years.

4 - The last four meetings between Bradford City and Colchester United at Valley Parade have ended as score draws.

5 - Northampton Town fielded the same starting XI for the fifth successive match and it paid dividends as they beat Accrington Stanley 5-1 for their fourth win on the bounce.

5 - Morecambe shared the points with AFC Wimbledon for their fifth successive league draw.

6 - Birmingham City extended their undefeated run in the Sky Bet Championship to six matches with a goalless draw against Norwich City.

6 - Burton Albion registered their sixth successive home win since the appointment of Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink by overcoming Bury 1-0.

8 - Stevenage’s eight-game unbeaten run at home was ended by Oxford United, who ran out 2-0 winners at the Lamex Stadium.

8 - After going six games without a victory, Kenny Jackett's Wolves are now unbeaten in their last eight in the Sky Bet Championship with five wins and three draws.

9 - Ricardo Fuller scored the only goal of the game as Millwall tasted success for the first time in nine games, at Nottingham Forest, who are now without a victory at home in five outings.

10 - George Elokobi had only scored four goals in his 10-year league career before joining Oldham but, after finding the net on his 29th birthday at the weekend, he has now scored in three successive home games for the Latics.

11 - Wycombe Wanderers extended their undefeated stretch to 11 games with their second goalless draw in as many games, against Portsmouth. The Chairboys have now drawn six of their last eight matches.

11 - A 3-2 victory over Cambridge took Luton Town's unbeaten home record to 11 matches. That was their third league win in a row against the U's.

11 - Milton Keynes Dons have scored 11 goals in two games against Crewe Alexandra this term - they fired six past the Alex in September, before Saturday’s 5-0 win.

13 - James Henry scored for the first time in 13 matches to steal a last-gasp point for Wolves at Bolton.

14 - Bournemouth have netted the opening goal in all of their 14 home games this term, after taking the lead against Watford on Friday night.

16 - Lee Fowler’s late winner for Crawley Town against Preston North End secured the Reds' first win since 21st October, 16 games ago.

20 - Jordan Rhodes brought his six-game goal drought to an end by scoring in Blackburn Rovers’ victory against Fulham. He last found the net on the 20th December, in Rovers’ most recent win before the weekend, against Charlton Athletic.

22 - Peterborough scored at home for the first time since 22nd November to end a run of four goalless games at London Road.

25 - Chesterfield striker Eoin Doyle grabbed a goal against Doncaster Rovers to take his tally to 25 in all competitions this term.

27 - Swindon failed to find the net for only the third time in their 27 Sky Bet League 1 matches so far this season by drawing a blank at Sheffield United.

28 - Watford’s Gabriele Angella was sent off after just 28 seconds against Bournemouth.

28 - Chris Martin has started all 28 of Derby County’s games this season, and he scored their second goal in their latest victory against Cardiff. Craig Forsyth has also been in the Rams’ starting XI in all of their Sky Bet Championship games this term.

30 - Reading’s Adam Federici celebrated his 30th birthday by keeping a clean sheet in the Royals’ 2-0 victory against Sheffield Wednesday.

30 - Nottingham Forest have failed to find the net in the first 30 minutes of a game since September.

30 - Five teams towards the foot of Sky Bet League 2 are tied on 30 points.

50 - Chris Wilder celebrated his 50th game in charge of Northampton with a 5-1 success at Accrington Stanley, which was the Cobblers' biggest away win in nearly 11 years.

100 - Grant Leadbitter maintained his 100 per cent record from the penalty spot this term by firing in from 12 yards against Brentford, making it eight out of eight.

23,018 - Nottingham Forest's home match against Millwall pulled in the biggest crowd of the weekend with over 23,000 in attendance at the City Ground.
