Notts County attract over 100 Hungarian Magpies for game with Leyton Orient

10 February 2015

More than 100 Hungarian Notts County fans will be in attendance for Tuesday night’s trip to Leyton Orient in Sky Bet League 1, thanks to new signing Balint Bajner.

The 24-year-old, former Borussia Dortmund striker, signed for County following his release from Ipswich Town in January, and the club have begun reaping the benefits since his move.

The interest in Bajner intensified when the Magpies decided to put out social media material in the Hungarian language, which was received with plenty of interest and led to ticket and merchandise sales.

More than 100 Hungarian fans will be at the Matchroom Stadium on Tuesday, with some flying in from Budapest especially for the game.

The group of fans have already planned a song for their beloved Bajner, and will be in full voice to support their icon against Orient.
